Nail Polish: Revlon - 375 Passion Fruit vs. OPI - Ate Berries in the Canaries
It's not lie that I love nail polishes. I've got a nice sized collection and always love buying new ones. Last week I was looking into buying a new colour when I saw this one from Revlon called 375 Passion Fruit.

In the bottle it looked almost identical to one of my favourite nail polish from O.P.I called Ate Berries in the Canaries. I just had to check it out and see how similar they looked on my nails.

As you can see they look almost identical. I find that the O.P.I is more brighter than the Revlon and I found the Revlon chip more than the O.P.I.
The extra plus to Revlon was the scent that it had when it dried, I'm not sure if it was supposed to smell like passion fruit or what, but it smelled sweet.
I'll probably use both of them since sometimes I do like to have a little more dull colour on my nails but I do like the brightness of the O.P.I more.
Sorry for no posting, I've had had crazy weeks and travels. But now I've arrived at my final destination :)

Nail Polish: OPI - Orge-the-Top Blue
This weeks nail polish is my favorite. It's from OPI Shrek Forever After Collection. This color is called "Ogre-the-Top Blue"
I love this color because it's blue. I love blue and I love OPI! It's a match made in heaven !
I've been looking around how it's the best to do the photos and so here will be another try.

You can actually see how messy my cuticles are and that I didn't put the nail polish on super well. But for me it doesn't really matter since I just LOVE this nail polish.

Nail Polish: OPI - Diva of Geneva
Since I got the new laptop and will now be able to write outside the house I'm going to start this new thing called Nail Polish of the Week. Why? Because I love having nail polish on my nails and this will give me a better excuse for buying a new one. The first one will be Diva of Geneva by OPI.
I got this one from my step mum for Christmas and well I love it! There are couple of reasons why I love it.
1. The color, it's shimmery without being too much (since I don't really like glitter)
2. This one and all my OPI polishes are just so easy to apply. I used to hate nail polishes because they wouldn't dry so I would end up with a mess! That has never been a problem with OPI!
I always use a nail strengthener under my polish to strengthen my nails and keep them from getting a funky color from the nail polish itself! That has happened to me with my green nail polish. My nails went yellow and the yellow had to grow away. It was pain! After that I ALWAYS put a base before the color!
Here is the color outside in daylight. I know it isn't the best picture. I'm working on taking better pictures.

Nail Problems
I love nails, I love nail varnish and everything that nails can do! Sadly this winter my nails just gave up. I've got this nail hardener that saves them but there are some accidents. Like this Tuesday. In they day I tried on this amazing leather dress from H&M. I didn't buy it I've still got 10 more days on my no buy thing, but as I was putting it on I broke a nail. I swore like a sailor and moved on. Then later in the evening I got drunk and banged my hand into the wall and broke another nail!
So this is how the nails on my left hand look, the right one has one broken nail! It's not only that my nails break it is that they as well peel. They first peel and then they break. It's a disaster.
I started looking around on the internet on what makes the nails peel and what I can do so it'll stop!
1) Changes in the temperature. When you go out in the cold and then into the warm house/bus/whatever that's warm.
2) Water, every time your nails get wet it separates the layers of the nail plate and then they peel.
The things I can do to make it stop:
1) Wear gloves out side, something I never do since I'm always tapping on my blackberry. It'll be a competition between my nails and my blackberry!
2) Stop washing my hands, haha, just kidding. There isn't much I can do with this one. I don't put my hands into water except for when I'm washing my hands, showering and bathing the kids.
I'll continue to always put on my nail hardener and moisturise all of the time (do that always now) and focus on the nails as well. I hope for the sake of my nails (and me) that spring will arrive soon. I crave warmth!
