Nail Polish: Mavala - Sweety

I have only posted about Mavala once before but I swear I have super many of their nail polishes! I love them for couple of reasons, first they have amazing colours and secondly they have 5 ml / 0.17 fl.oz. bottles that are just perfect!

Today I am wearing the colour Sweety by Mavala. I only wear one coat because I love when the polish is a bit sheer sometimes and I just LOVE this colour!

I haven't been wearing nail polish at all for some time because my nails had some epic meltdown and just didn't want to do anything else but break! But with some tender, love and care I managed to get them healthy again.

Today I am as well wearing a nail strengthener from Yves Rocher, I haven't used it a lot so I can't really review it that well but so far I like what I am seeing! It is something I found at the bottom of my nail polish drawer, it seemingly has been discontinued and I can't find it anywhere online. But, it is called Manicure Soin Durcissant or Nail Strengthener.

Mavala in the colour Sweety can be purchaced at for £4.30

25 Things Before My 25th Birthday

Whilst some of my goals are quite straight forwards some are more ambiguous. There are two reasons for that, while some of my goals I am totally willing to share all about them now some are still not really ready to be completely revealed and some goals are just not fully formed and I might have to change the direction they are taking later on.

Over the next five weeks I plan writing more about these goals, I am going to choose five goals every week and write more about them and why I want to accomplish them.

1. Do a 100 Days Declutter Challenge
2. Move
3. Do a Photo an Hour challenge every month (12 times December 2012 - November 2013)
4. Read books that start with all the letters of the alphabet (a-z) and review them.
5. Read books that by authors last name (a-z) and review them.

6. Start an inspirational book.
7. Sew seven pieces of clothing.
8. Learn how to draw
9. Improve my handwriting
10. Make and write Christmas cards AND send them

The Little Mare That Could

This is totally different from what I have ever written but I just have to because it is an amazing story that should be heard!

The farmer and the mare (Photo by Guðmundur Karl)

Let's begin with how it all started! Last Monday a young man, 24, escaped from the only prison in Iceland and he is considered to be dangerous (he was found guilty of trying to murder his stepmother) and therefore there are hundreds of people looking for him.

One of the helicopters that was looking for him spotted a mare frozen stuck in a pond in a secluded area that could not have been seen from any road. The people on the helicopter decided that they should do something and landed by the closest farm. They talked to the farmer and told him about where the mare was and the farmer went to the mare and attempted to save her. The helicopter squad had to keep on searching for the missing prisoner and went away.

Later on, the helicopter squad check on the farmer again and saw that he was having trouble saving the poor mare and began helping him. The mare was barely alive and couldn't walk or anything. Therefore, she had to be transported back to the farm in the shovel of a digger.

Transporting the mare (Photo by Sigga Pje)
When she got to the farm they did not think she would make it and called the vet to help them to euthanize her so she wouldn't suffer anymore. However, the vet decided to give her some steroids and with that she sprung back to life and is now doing much better! They believe that the young mare will survive her ordeal. No one knows how long the two year old mare had been stuck in the middle of the frozen pond. The farmer is planning on calling her "Þyrla" which is the Icelandic word for helicopter.

The farmer, Steinn Skúlason, told the Icelandic newspaper Morgunblaðið that "she will be very spoiled over Christmas by us"

The fugitive is still at large and is considered dangerous so if you are chilling outdoors in Iceland just be careful!

It was my birthday - 24 things before my 24th birthday

I know I didn't manage to finish my list or even being close to finish it but I feel like I have accomplished a lot this year! All in all this was a great year and I had some great experiences!

Green means I managed to do it completely.
Orange means I did some of it
Red means I didn't do it

1. Change schools
I actually managed to do this! I started my new school in September and I just love it.

2. Learn how to write in Arabic
When I was picking what classes I should take I chose to start studying Arabic! I have now finished 1  semester of Arabic classes and I can really say that it is amazing learning a new alphabet and with that such a different language!

3. Learn better French (I am on level B1 now)
Since many of my classes are in French and I have school books that are in French I do feel a bit more confident with my French, I do understand what the teachers are talking about and I am getting a better grip on understanding daily chitchat. I even talk to  some classmates in French! That is a big up for me since I am super shy about talking in French.

4. Start a Handmade Shop
This one is orange because I am almost there! I plan on opening the shop in the end of January!

5. Knit a sweater
This one was one of the first one that I accomplished. It doesn't really fit so I might actually take it apart and make something else from the yarn.

6. Find an apartment
Mr. Handsome and I moved into a new apartment in February.

7. Grow some herbs
This actually happened and they survived for a while, we have a half dead basil plant still around that might survive the year.

8. Take 52 outfit pictures
I did take 3 outfit pictures, they can be seen here. I really liked taking outfit pictures and I do plan on starting that again!

9. Lose 10 kg (22 lbs)
My goal weight was 67.5 kg ( 148.8 lbs), I started weighing 77.5 kg (170.9 lbs) right now I am bouncing between 74-75 kg (163 - 165.3 lbs). So, in total I have managed lose about 2.5 kg. I know it isn't a lot but it is super hard for me to lose any weight so I am quite proud that I didn't gain any weight this year. I plan on going on with a healthier lifestyle and hopefully one day I will manage to be in the right weight for my height.

10. Cook 52 different recipes
I did try new things, and next year I will post some of the recipes that I have been developing!  Some can be read here.

 11. Knit 52 different things
I don't think I have made 52 things but I believe it is in the double numbers. I can't wait to show what I have made when I open my shop!

12. Needlepoint 12 different things
I didn't really start this one, I looked at different things and did some practices but I didn't really make anything.

13. Sew 52 different things
I did do some sewing but nothing really that I would count as one of the 52 things.

14. Write a short story
I did write couple of drafts of a story but like always I didn't finish them.

15. Stop eating milk products
I decided to stop even trying to do this, I love cheese and other dairy products.

16. Set up a workplace for me
This is orange because while I don't have a specific workplace for me (the apartment is way to small for it) I do have a specific place for my yarn and fabric.

17. Take 52 make-up pictures
I did manage to do quite a lot of these! I really enjoy writing about my make-up!

18. Get a bike
I decided that biking in Geneva is just way to dangerous!

19. Visit the East-Cost of the USA
This didn't happen, but I went and visited South of France, Copenhagen and some other places.

20. Save some money (around 2600 chf)
I am on the right path with this matter.

21. Have 400 twitter followers - follow me here
Today I have 142 follower! Yay!

22. Turn this blog into a webpage
I didn't even start this.

23. Stop using shampoo and conditioner
I started this on my birthday last year and I haven't turned back. I love it, at the moment I am only washing my hair with water and it is amazing!

24. Grow a lemon grass plant.
I am super proud of my amazing lemon grass plant! I love brewing myself a tea from the fresh leaves!

As I said before I am really happy with my year! I've started to plan my 25 things before my 25th list and I hope I can write about it next week!

Review: Bourjois Paris Smoky Eyes - 06 Violet Romantic

I might be a little bit biased to this eye shadow trio. Why? Because it is purple and my all time favorite colour is purple and  therefore I just tend to love things a little bit more when they are purple.

I had been lusting for the Bourjois Paris Smokey Eyes for some time, but I never was really sure if I needed more eye shadows. After looking at it almost every time I went to the make up store I decided to go for it! Not so shockingly I picked the shade 06 Violet Romantic.

At first glance the colours were amazing. I really was looking forward to such a bright purple hue. Sadly I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the colours are great. I like the eye shadows I was just expecting so much more from how they looked, both from the advertisements and from how the eye shadow itself looks in the little box. The dark shade, is more black than purple and the medium and light shades are almost identical.

I will definitely keep on using them but not as a statement eye shadow like I was expecting. I don't think I will be using the little brush that comes with it and I do think that that little brush is both a waste of space and material.

All in all, even with some flaws I do like the eye shadows. I think I just went in with too much hope of super pigmented purple eye shadow that would rock my world but in reality it is just a normal eye shadow that can easily be used during the day.

I didn't find any store in the US that sells this colour but boots in UK does sell it.

Review: Clinique BB Cream - Shade 1

I have to admit that I am not a big foundation girl. I think it is a combination between my freckles and the fact that I am super pale. I can never find the right shade that is pale enough and the shades I've tried that come close partially cover up my freckles so it just looks odd.

Therefore, I didn't really have high hopes for the BB Cream from Clinique. I was sure since it only comes in 3 shades that the there wouldn't be a match and that it would look odd with my freckles like normal foundation does.

But I was happily surprised, I bought shade 1 and it fits my skin tone perfectly and it doesn't cover up my freckles.

What is the point of BB cream if it doesn't have any coverage? Well, that is the magic of the BB Cream from Clinique, whilst it doesn't cover up my freckles it makes my skin look better and hides the imperfections. I don't believe that my freckles are an imperfection and I do love that they can shine through the BB Cream.

I love as well how easy it is to use the BB Cream, it goes on super smoothly and since it isn't to heavy you don't need to be afraid of it being uneven or having the dreaded foundation mask.

An added benefit is that it has spf 30 which is always a big deal for me! I know that it isn't enough for the summer but it is enough for the winter when the sun barely shines!

All in all I love it and I will defiantly buy it again!

Age Defense BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - US$37.00

P.S. I have been having this awful headache all day, and every time I have bad headache my face looks all wonky!

The Road Not Taken

Life has been chaotic, to say the least. It's not as much that things have been happening on the outside but more on the inside. I've been filled with stress and restlessness that makes me feel even more stressed.

I feel like I can't accomplish the things that I set myself to accomplish and I feel stressed and generally unsettled by it. I need structure to feel good and there hasn't been any structure in my life.

I want that to change, I need that to change.

From that statement general questions arise. What do I want out of blogging? What do I want out of life in general? How can I accomplish the things I want to accomplish?

But how can I integrate my life and my blog?
I can..
.... share what I am reading
.... share what I am making
.... share what I am wearing
.... share what make-up produce I am using
.... share what I am loving
.... share what I am watching

I was always waiting for the right time to start writing again, but the right time is not something that just pops up one day. You have to make the time be right yourself otherwise nothing actually happens.

So here I am, making the time be the right time and just jumping into the pool again! I have to be honest and say that it does feel good.

You can't let stress and anxiety keep you away from what you want to do. It is always hard to face your stress-factors and just decide to carry on anyway. That is what I am planning on doing, I know that the continuous stress will still be there but I might get some relieve by writing.

Until next time

Summer Vacation (Guest Blogger)

Today's posts comes from 20sb blog hop! Check it out :)

*clears throat* Hi! (is this thing on?)

My name’s Brigid and I blog over at Babbling Bridge. About anything and everything, really. My love for food. And trashy television. And the random nonsense of being the only 25-year-old who isn’t married/crafty/fashionable/working at her dream job.

Okay, I’m not the only gal w/ this problem. It just seems like it when I come across all these awesome blogs with pics of their latest home cooked meal or Pinterest project. I’m happy if I can muster up the energy to heat up a Hot Pocket and leave the house in the morning in an outfit that relatively matches.

So, please, check me out sometime, if only to feel better about yourself.

Now, onto the blog swap. I’ve never done one before, but when 20-Something Bloggers emailed me about the upcoming swap, I was intrigued. And then they announced the topic and I was all in – summer vacations.

Is there a more magical phrase than “summer vacation?” Me thinks not.

I’ve had my share of great vacations. My parents would pack up my sisters and I for a week every summer to various tourist destinations across the eastern seaboard. New York. Philly. Boston. DC. Been there, done that. All of them awesome, as only a vacation can be when you’re with your fam and your parents foot the bill. So what if we’re bringing PB&J’s into all the museums and staying at the Econo Lodge? A vacation is a vacation.

If asked to pick my favorite summer vacation memory, I couldn’t pick just one. There was the summer we went to DC and I almost threw up in the White House (my mom gave me her best Look and told me that vomit and secret service men did not mix). Then there was the time our hotel was a tad swanky and my dad didn’t trust me to not make a huge mess all over the kitchen. And I ended up eating my breakfast on the back of the toilet. In the bathroom (in my defense, I was like seven years old for these trips).

But one summer vacay that stands out in my memory would have to be 4th of July weekend in Chicago two summers ago.

For one, I was with my sisters, who are also my best friends and travel buddies. Secondly, I had been to Chi in the fall before, but never seen the Windy City in all her summer splendor. Thirdly, I was old enough to remember most of the deets. And to not be banished to the bathroom to eat my Froot Loops. My sister Maureen lives near Wrigleyville, so we were in prime position for our Friday Cubs game. We enjoyed some pong out on her back porch before heading to the game and scoring some tickets from a friendly neighborhood scalper citizen.

Saturday we hit up Taste of Chicago for some Chi-style grubbin’ and outdoor music.

And what trip to Chicago would be complete without a visit to the Bean?

My sisters and I have this weird hilarious habit of making up stories about people we don’t even know. The major of Chicago at the time was Daly, and we had this ongoing scenario about how we kept getting first-class treatment b/c of Mo’s tight relationship w/ the mayor. No line at the portapotties at Taste? Thanks, Mayor Daly! No one sitting in front of us at the 4th of July fireworks? You really pulled through, Mayor Daly! Putting a Taco Bell near the Cubby Bear so you can devour nachos on the walk home from the bars? I don’t know if that was Mayor Daly or just good sense, but thanks a million!

I don’t know about all this “Midwesterners are so nice” propaganda they try to throw at you. Never have I had more drunks barrel into me than at the Hangge Uppe. But I guess you can find those folks anywhere. What you can’t find in any old city is a hunkin’ plastic noodle. Not unlike the one I saw in Boston last week. Must’ve been one of Mayor Daly’s last acts in office, touring that noodle around his fine city. And really, who can blame him?

Patrick the Snail - The Beginning to the End

I don't really know how I plan on explaining my actions in the end when I decide to do something, I decided to try to help Patrick heal and I decided that he would survive and be my favorite pet until he was healthy enough to go in the nature again. Sometimes my decisions don't add up. In this case, no matter how well I cared for him, the likeliness of him surviving his injury was minimal.

I had faith that was more like complete stubbornness, I kept Patrick moist, I gave him calcium, food and water and for a moment it looked like he was doing better.

A couple of days before we went on our vacation Patrick seemed  to be lethargic. You might wonder how you can notice a snail being lethargic. Well, he wasn't snailing around or eating like previous days and his movements weren't as crisp as before. He still ate a bit and drank water and I hoped that he was just resting. Later during the day I realized that his movements and his breathing were starting to be even weaker, I kept on keeping him hydrated and just wished for the best.

In the evening Patrick left this world on a slice of cucumber.

I don't know why I felt such a connection with a snail, but Patrick really made an impact on me. As I mentioned on the other Patrick the Snail post, I had pet snails as a kid and they thrived. A part of me feels like I could have done something more to save him, something genius but my mind just was blank. The only information I found was that snails would die if their shell would be to damaged. I just had tremendous hope for my Patrick.

I don't know how I should end this post, I just wanted to give an update on Patrick.

Here you can see more pictures of Patrick and the beginning of the story.

11. Something you need or need to do everyday?
Have a moment with myself. It sounds odd but whenever I wake up I need an hour just me sitting and relaxing for the day ahead. It keeps me focused but helps me keep the stress at bay.

Learn French Avec Moi - Verbs I (-er verbs)

I need to learn more French and what better way is there to learn French then to learn it with everyone else. Every Tuesday I plan on learning a new thing in the French language and share it with everyone. I will as well add six new words to my vocabulary!

I wanted to start with verb endings, I believe that they are one of the most important thing to learn when you start learning French. There are couple of reasons for this. First of all, you need to learn those by heart and second of all they are damn annoying so it is better to learn them early on the journey to learn French.

Let's start with the grammatical person:

 je - I  nous - we
tu - you  vous - you
il / elle - he / she / it   ils / elles - they (masculine) / they (feminine)

This is only part one of the verbs and only the first part of regular verbs. Today, we will go into the -er verbs.

What are -er verbs?
What do manger (to eat), appeler (to call) and nettoyer (to clean) have in common? Well they all end with the letters -er.

Why does that matter?
It matters because that is how we determine how they will change when we change the grammatical person that follows these verbs.

Let's check out how endings for the -er verbs change (in present tense) when we change the grammatical person.

 je - e  nous - ons
tu - es  vous - ez
 il / elle - e   ils / elles - ent

If we continue and look at the verb manger, first we need to remove the infinitive ending and just look at the stem of the word: mang

je - mange  nous - mangons
tu - manges  vous - mangez
il / elle - mange     ils / elles - mangent

The same thing goes for appeler and nettoyer.

Today's vocabulary:
exactement - exactly  la phrase - sentence
le malentendu - misunderstanding   rhume des foins - hay fever
la poire - pear  la tête - head

Next week, we will go on with verbs and check out the -ir verbs :)

Patrick the Snail

I would like to introduce y'all to a new member of this family.

First a little back story. I have always loved snails. I don't know why but there is something about them that I love. When I was younger I used to have snails as pets and it was amazing.

Back to yesterday, I saw a snail with a cute brown shell and I picked it up. Sadly the shell broke but the snail seemed fine. I decided instead of leaving him to be eaten by birds I would bring him home and heal him.

I would say that 95% of his shell is gone but there are no scratches on his skin and he wasn't squeezed at all so he should be fine on the inside. He has been eating a bit of a peach and cucumber. I tried to give him some celery (high in calcium) but he wouldn't touch it and at the moment I am testing if he would like to eat some fresh basil.

Tomorrow I will go and get him some cuttlefish bone to increase his calcium intake for his new shell.

He has been quite active, "running" around and generally showing that he is fine. I wasn't sure he would survive his first night after the incident but he pulled though.

I think I can see some of his shell forming again so I am hopeful that in some weeks time he will be even better.

That is it about Patrick today. I will definitely write more about him later with information on how he is doing!

Book Review: Prey by Michael Crichton

I am not big fan of books written in first person, there is just too much rambling and I find it, to be honest, annoying as hell. I was happily surprised by this book! Even though it is written in first person the rambling is not that bad.

Michael Crichton is probably best known for writing Jurassic Park, which was the reason for Mr. Handsome to bring this book home.

Prey isn't about dinosaurs but about about micro-robots. The main character is a software programmer that is a stay at home dad named Jack Forman. He is married to Julia and they have three children (Nicole, Eric and Amanda)

The book covers seven days of their lives. It is in two parts called HOME and DESERT. The home part is more mental thriller, since Jack doesn't know what is happening whilst in the latter part it is all pure physical thriller.

The main problem for Jack in the first part of the book is the fact he believes that Julia is cheating on him, she stays at work all the time and he believes she is acting differently

In the second part Jack is working in Julia's company and is staying at the laboratory in the middle of the desert. He finds a swarm of micro-robots that he needs to destroy and find out the mysteries of the laboratory.
I turned to see two additional swarms coming around the shed. They immediately swirled over our car, front and back. I felt like we were in a dust storm. I looked at Mae. She was sitting very still, stony-faced, just watching. (Page 318)
There is this one thing I didn't like about the novel. It might be because Michael is a man or it might be just how he writes or it even might be just this book since it is the first one I have read from him. But the problem I am having is how he projects the female characters of this story, they are nagging, bitchy, cheating, weak, easily manipulated and a tad stupid. On the other hand they are pretty, gorgeous and otherwise objectified. I am not sure if he uses such a stereotypical prejudice in ever book that he writes but I don't think I will read another one to find out.
The baby cried louder, tried to turn away. One of the adhesive tabs pulled off. The diaper slid down. Amanda was now rolling toward the edge of the dresser. Julia pulled her back roughly. Amanda never stopped kicking. 'God damn it, I said stop!' Julia said, and smacked the baby on the leg. The baby just cried harder, kicked harder. 'Amanda! Stop it! Stop it!' She slapped her again. 'Stop it! Stop it!' (Page 21)
Even early in the book when everything is supposedly fine he shows Julia in a bad light. Just because she is a working mother makes her a bad parent? Smacking her 18 month old baby on the thigh. If you have read the book you might think it has something to do with the ending. I don't think so. There is nothing about the ending that would explain that kind of behavior.

Prey can be bought from amazon for $9.99

Review: Biotherm - Baume Corps - Oil Therapy - Nurti-Replenishing Body Treatment With Apricot Oil

Since I have already quite a lot of make-up and other sort of things I wanted to review everything so I have it around for whenever I want to mention it. Today I want to review my other lotion. Yes, it is true. I pretty much just use two different lotions. I am not a lotion slut, I stick with my lotion until it is finished.

I love the scent of this lotion, it has apricot oil in it and you can smell it. My skin is as well super smooth after I use it.

The lotion is quite thick but it gets absorbed quickly into the skin.

There are couple of things that I don't like about this lotion and they are all in the ingredients list.

According to the webpage of Biotherm the ingredients are:

Three precious oils for the most precious skin:

- Musk Rose Oil: Omega 3 & 6, with REGENERATING and FORTIFYING properties
- Passion Flower Oil: Omega 3 & 6, with NOURISHING and EMBELLISHING properties
- Apricot Oil: Rich in essential fatty acids, with SOFTENING and SMOOTHING properties

In the real world these are the ingredients:
Aqua, Zea Mays, Glycerin, Paraffinum Liquidum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Petrolatum, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Paraffin, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Prunus Armenicac Kernel Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyetanol, Parfum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Aminio Acids, Carbomer, Glyceryl Linoleate, Limonene, Dimethiconol, Methylparaben. Glyceryl Oleate, Propylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Disodium Edta, Vitreoscilla Ferment Extract, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Glyceryl Linolenate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Geraniol Citronellol, Ci 15985.

Yes, that is a really long ingredients list and it scares me. I am not sure if I will buy this again, I've finished over half of the bottle. I think I'll probably try to find something else with a much shorter ingredients list.

The Biotherm Lotion can be bought from amazon for $37.50

Review: Yves Roches - Tribal Attitude Lip Gloss

I love going to the Yves Rocher stores and just browsing around. This time when I went in they had the Tribal  Attitude their summer limited edition make-up and I just really wanted this lip gloss. You can see the entire Tribal Attitude collection here

The lip gloss applicator has an unique shape, the shape is very useful for putting on the lip gloss. The follow the curve of the lower lip perfectly.

I chose this lip gloss because I really like the light shimmer of it. It feels super smooth on the lips and not at all sticky (I hate sticky lip glosses). The only thing I don't like so much about this lip gloss is it doesn't stay very long on the lips but does colour everything the lips touch! I've been leaving trail of lip glossed glasses and spoons everywhere around the apartment and I can't blame it on Mr. Handsome when there are lip gloss stains on them!

As you can see on the swatches the colour is very raspberry like, the lip gloss is supposedly supposed to have raspberry extract in it but since I can't find the ingredient list anywhere I have no idea if that is true or not. I love the little glitters it has, it gives the lip gloss that extra shimmer without going overboard.

All in all I am very happy with this lip gloss and I will definitely use it often.

Make-Up Monday #10

Stress is my middle name these days and it just keeps on piling on. Therefore, I have been hiding on my couch like I do in stressful times!

Today I am using the same things I used at Make-Up Monday #5 except for today I am wearing an eyeliner as well.

Skin -

Eyes -
(Clinique Butter Pecan (04) - $19.50) (4-5)
(Clinique - High Impact Mascara - Black - $15) (3)

(Lancôme - Le Crayon Khôl Black Ebony - $25.50) (2)

Lips -
( - Maybelline New York - Color sensational - Red 547 - $6.50) (1)

I love wearing lip liner as a lip stick, I find it easier to use and it stays on for such a long time. It as well gives me the matte look I am after. If I want some shine I just add a lip balm on top and it is glossy!

At last, here are the swatches!

10. Cook 52 different recipes

On my 24 Things To Do Before My 24th Birthday list number ten was to cook 52 different recipes. As I mentioned before I wasn't really sure how I wanted to demonstrate to myself how I managed to do 52 different recipes so I decided to count the recipes I posted about.

So far I have posted 5 different recipes.

First I made some amazing Peanut butter-Chocolate-Banana Cinnamon Rolls, which were devoured.

Then I started making different kind of milk I made Oat Milk and Coconut Milk.

And at last I made something I've wanted to make for ages: Homemade Nutella.

I am really happy about all the things I did and I am really exited for the other things I'll be trying to make!

So I can finally say

10. Cook 52 different recipes (4/52)

Making Homemade Nutella

This recipe only has 4 ingredients: hazelnuts, dark chocolate, coconut milk and salt. There is no added sugar or any ingredients you can't get easily! Furthermore, it's super easy!

This recipe yields about 300 ml (1.3 cups) of delicious nutty nutella.

250 ml chopped hazelnuts (I used them with the skin still on)
200 ml coconut milk (you can easily make it yourself)
50 gr dark chocolate
A dash of salt

I measured the hazelnuts only after I blended them for 1 minute.

Start with blending the hazelnuts for couple of minutes whilst you melt the chocolate with 100 ml of coconut milk.

In the blender add the other half of the coconut milk (100 ml) and start blending it with the hazelnuts. Add the melted chocolate and the coconut milk in the hazelnut mixture and keep on blending. Taste and add the salt after you liking.

Blend until you like the consistency, it looks like the chocolate hazelnut spread is way to thin but trust me it isn't.

But it into a jar and cool it in the fridge. It needs to be kept in the fridge, both for it to not go bad to quickly and for the consistency to be just right.
